• www.hagsharlotsheroines.com was recently nominated for the prestigious Women in Publishing New Venture Award for 2004. Helen is a co-founder of this creative writing site about herstory, and pioneering women's lives;

• Helen Wilkinson, Genderquake's Founder and Director was one of 35 commended social entrepreneurs for the inaugural Upstarts Award for social entrepreneurship in 2001, the brainchild of the New Statesman in association with Centrica, for www.genderquake.com;

• Helen Wilkinson was one of 10 Finalists for the E-Business Start-up category of the E-Commerce Awards 2001, sponsored by Sun Microsystems and Computacenter, www.ecommerce-awards.co.uk for www.elancentric.com;
